Before I get to the beauty within this week's post, I just wanted to let you know that I will be out of the office for the next week. I have posts planned, so this space will still be hoppin', but I won't be responding to any emails. If you contact me, you can expect a response back on the 11th or 12th. I hope that helps! Have a great week! Now enjoy the beauty of Wood Chick Studios! xoxo
During the month of May I orchestrated a styled wedding photo shoot that I cannot wait to share with all of you! While working on this shoot, I had the extreme pleasure and privilege of working with several wedding vendors that I absolutely love. As I prepare to share the images from the styled shoot, I wanted to take some time to highlight the vendors I worked with and celebrate the beauty of their craftsmanship. This week I'm highlighting wooden wedding invitation makers Shirlene + Matthew of Wood Chick Studios.
When I came across Shirlene + Matthew's wooden wedding invitations I was immediately intrigued. Invitations printed on wood? Wouldn't they be heavy? Would the ink actually take? Would you lose any vibrancy of color? However, I knew that they would be perfect for the styled shoot I was orchestrating, so I immediately reached out to them about getting involved. Shirlene was quick to respond to my inquiry and very eager to work with me to ensure that we were on the same page. When I received the final product, I couldn't have been more thrilled. They were surprisingly light-weight and beautifully printed and the ink was still very vibrant. For any brides having a rustic wedding or a modern wedding with some masculine touches added in, these invitations would be absolutely perfect, and Shirlene + Matthew have a huge variety of invitations to choose from.
