I'm a fan of punches as a great way to provide a delicious treat for guests at a party. They can look highly elegant yet remain easy to put together, and I'm a huge fan of that combination! Any time a hostess can save herself time in the pre-party prep yet still end up with party details that make the guests feel special I am all over those ideas. Especially since focusing on the special details, though fun, can often leave the hostess feeling exhausted and unable to fully enjoy the party, which is not how things should go.
Today I have a delicious and easy punch recipe for all of you. It looks beautiful in a large punch bowl and tastes divine! I first made this punch for my friend Jen's bachelorette party and it was a hit with all of the bridesmaids, so I know it will be a hit at your next celebration!
2 liters of Sprite or 7-Up
1 bottle (approximately 25 ounces) Pinot Grigio
2 cans frozen Raspberry Lemonade
8 Cuties sliced
A couple hours before your party combine the wine, thawed frozen lemonage and Cuties so the flavors can begin to meld. Keep it refridgerated. When it's party time, pour the mixture into the punch bowl, add the soda, and you're good to go!
If you're short on time or forget, you don't need to combine any of the ingredients beforehand. You can definitely combine it all at the last moment and still end up with a punch that your guests will be talking about!
It is important to note that, as a punch, you don't need to search for an expensive Pinot Grigio or a Pinot Grigio that you love drinking on its own. The cheapest Pinot Grigio in the store should be more than sufficient.
Are you looking for a punch you can serve to underage party members? This punch tastes great without the addition of the alcohol, too! You will want to use only one can of the frozen raspberry lemonade otherwise the sweetness will be over the top.
