Monthly Goals: September 2014

Hello lovelies! Things have been so busy lately, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to find time to get these goals before October. All of the chaos is coming from good, wonderful, and exciting things, though, so I'm not complaining!

August Goals Recap

Road trip to Charleston for a wedding + friend reunion. This was SO good. Both the wedding and the time we got with our friends were so meaningful. My love for Charleston was even further solidified!
Enjoy some time with Michael's BFF on our way back from Charleston. These days were so much fun! When Michael + C are together they laugh SO HARD, which makes me laugh too. There were several late nights, a day floating on the lake, and so much relaxing done during this time.
Skype with some of my favorite creative and inspiring friends. I had one really amazing heart-to-heart Skype call with a friend which I am so thankful for.
Continue learning to unplug more, hydrate frequently, and stretch daily. I'm getting better at all of these! Habits take time to fully form, but I made some good progress.
Get all of the changes I have planned for this space up and running. Mostly. There are a couple coding things I've been struggling with, but I think I got that conquered. Almost.
Don't lose my reading habit as things pick up for the Fall. I think August was the worst month for reading that I've had all year. :( I have plans for the library tomorrow, though, so hopefully I'll find a book that grabs me (shouldn't be hard.)
When possible, take the same days off that Michael has off. We're getting better at this! I love just taking a day to not worry and spend time together. Since we both tend to work weekends, it's nice to remember that we can create out own weekends.

September 2014 Goals

Replenish/Reorganize my day of emergency kit after my August weddings.

Take a handful of afternoons with Michael to refresh some of the spaces in our apartment that are just "not quite right." It should be fun to work on these little projects together. Hopefully we'll continue using our "I forgot we've had that for the past 1.5 years, we should probably just get rid of it" eyes.

Work on getting my business card designs finalized + ordering them.

Thoughtfully contact a few creatives that I have been wanting to collaborate with or get to know a little better.

Part two of the previous goals, contact some more vendors that I love about featuring them on the blog.

Maintain the inbox 0 that I have started this month off with (except weekends.)

Send out some snail mail to some clients and friends just to brighten their days.

Soak up the last of this warm weather before Fall arrives. I love the Fall colors, but I'm a warm weather baby.

Put the final touches on some DIY project tutorials that I've been making to share with all of you. I think you'll really like them!

Pick up some books that I've been wanting to read from the library to relax and unwind with.

What are some of your goals for this next month?

xoxo, Stacia
