My Week in Review

I'm jumping in with Oak + Oats again this week to share a peek behind the scenes from this last week! It's been a good week and I've gotten a lot done on my January goals. Michael + I also got to spend some quality time with some of our friends. It was a really soul-lifting time. Just what we needed!

1. Last week I cooked brussels sprouts for the first time. Now I'm addicted! Do you have a favorite recipe using these little cuties that you want to share?!

2.  I received this book from Blogging for Books. I'll be sharing more specifics later, but I was sadly disappointed. I did, however, enjoy this piece of juvenile fiction.

3. This past week was incredibly rainy, though we did get some snow toward the end of the week which was exciting (even though it didn't stick.) As a girl who grew up in California any kind of snow is exciting! Ever since Frozen was released, I can't help but sing "Do You Want to Build a Snow Man?" in my head whenever I see snow.

4. We finally took down all our Christmas decorations this week. I always hate to see them go. We did leave some white twinkle lights up in the kitchen because they are so cheerful and once all the rest of the Christmas decor is  gone they don't look quite as Christmasy. Do you decorate with twinkle lights?

How was your week?

xoxo, Stacia
