Milton + Mariana's elegant vineyard wedding happened a year ago yesterday, but I haven't had the opportunity share any images from their day until now. In celebration of their anniversary, I thought it would be really nice to take a moment and look back in time at this truly beautiful vineyard wedding.
Mariana and I met each other at college and saw quite a bit of each other since we were both in the same major. Milton came along after I had graduated, but he and my husband got to know each other a bit, especially since Michael + I are good friends with Milton's younger brother, Matt. Mariana always wondered what kind of man she might end up with, and when she got together with Milton things just made sense. Both of them are highly passionate individuals that love life and good conversations, and they both help mellow out certain parts of the other's personality. They both also care deeply about their families, which is one reason why they chose to get married in Georgia (Mariana is from Virginia and Milton is from Texas), so that each side of the family would have less overall distance to travel.
Mariana had a vision for their wedding day from the moment we started making plans, and it was so fun to work with her to meld their taste for formal, fancy events along with their preference for relaxed, comfortable atmospheres. I hope that these images capture that vibe for you!
Milton + Mariana, I hope that your first year of marriage has been full of wonderful and special moments. That you have continued to bring out the best in each other and support each other through the difficulties life can bring and celebrate with each other all of life's little victories. I hope your sarcastic humor and wit have continued to keep you both laughing frequently and heartily, and that every year gets better from here!
The aisle decor from this wedding is one of my absolute favorites that I have put together so far!
