Vendor Highlights: Melinda Rose Designs

Veils always seem to be a subject of stress for my brides. What do they want? What do they like? What flatters them the most? What style goes with their dress the best? Weighing these pros and cons can be exhausting, but finding the right veil does wonders for a bride's attire.

When I stumbled across Melinda Rose Designs' beautiful veils during my search for the right veil for my watercolor styled shoot, I knew that I had to work with her! Her veils truly stand unique from the other vendors you find, and I was eager to see if the quality was as gorgeous as her designs. Because quality does matter regarding an item that will be worn for the majority of the day by the bride. If the tulle is scratchy or the comb is of poor quality, the entire experience can be miserable for the bride.

Melinda's veils were, I am happy to report, expertly crafted! The swiss dot veil was quite heavy for a veil because it is made out of a beautiful (and so soft!) material that is denser than tulle. I searched high and low for the perfect polka dot veil, and this was the most gorgeous one in the small few that I found. Meanwhile, the teardrop blusher veil, was made out of a very lightweight tulle that was both soft (for a tulle) and effortless to wear.

When corresponding about the shoot, Melinda was very easy to communicate with and on top of her game. The veils arrived exactly when they were scheduled to, and they had been packaged with care so to not get crushed. If you peek through her shop I think you'll see that she offers a great many styles of veils that will appeal to a great many brides, and even though she can be pricey, the price is worth the quality, care and American-made nature of her items!
