Josiah + Emily's colorful, rustic wedding on the Ocoee River is incredibly special to my husband Michael + me. Michael went to high school with Josiah's older brother Luke and met Josiah at one of Josiah's family's huge annual super bowl parties. Emily + I met on Spring Chorale Tour my senior year of college. On Chorale Tour Emily + I hit it off and decided that we should start going on double dates, and from there the four of us became closer friends who have always enjoyed quirky date nights and open, rambling conversations with each other. When Josiah + Emily got engaged, Michael + I couldn't have been more excited for them! Both of us were honored and thrilled to be part of their bridal party, and I was especially privileged to be able to help Emily with so many of the planning aspects, diy projects, and styling questions leading up to their wedding day.
Josiah + Emily, I couldn't be happier for the two of you. I have enjoyed watching your relationship grow as you two have learned to love and support each other through all the ups and downs the past few years have brought. I love seeing how your personalities compliment each other so well, and how both of you truly bring out the very best in the other. I am excited for the journey that you two have embarked on, and I can't wait to see where the future takes both of you! Michael + I look forward to continuing to support you both as our friendship evolves in this new stage of life. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day!
