Bridesmaid dress shopping can be one of the most difficult parts of wedding planning for many brides. You want a dress that matches your color scheme and flatters the body types of all your bridesmaids. It's a harder task than you might guess, especially if you're doing the majority of your shopping online and can't see the dresses in person. That's one reason why I love the new bridesmaids dress company, Azazie.
Azazie sells a wide variety of dresses in multiple styles and colors perfect for most of your bridesmaids dress shopping needs. What makes them even better is that for just $10 you can have a sample dress shipped to you to try on. You have to ship it back within 4 days, (the $10 covers the cost of shipping to you and back) but it gives you a great way to see if you like the style of the dress in person and what your size might actually be. It's really an ingenious system! I mean, the number one reason I know people hesitate to order their bridesmaids dresses online is because they are unsure of the fit.
When the dresses arrived for the shoot I was immediately impressed with the quality of the materials and of the dresses. Their prices are also so much better than the prices of other bridesmaids dress retailers, which is a definite perk since being a bridesmaid can quickly become a costly endeavor!
One thing I would note is that even though all of the girls modeling as bridesmaids matched up to the size measurements of their dresses pretty closely (almost exactly) the dresses were a little big for the girls when they arrived. This is a great reason to order a sample dress before determining your size! If the sample doesn't work out, Azazie also offers custom tailoring so that you can achieve the perfect fit. This will save your maids so much time in the long run because they won't have to run to a tailor in the weeks before the wedding. I don't think it's a deal breaker, by any means, but it is something to consider.
